Widely imitated with less expensive materials and lesser features, no one who has tried it will ever want to sit in an imitation. The Hybride Wood Arm chair is the top of the line and is a hybrid of tubular aluminum and HLE (high limit elastic) steel.

The principle of the zero gravity chair is that the back reclines while the leg supports rise and maintain a curved surface for both you back and legs - taking weight away from all parts of your body that usually bear your weight.

An important feature that is rarely true of imitators is that you can use your arms to help recline and to get back out of the chair. Especially for older persons and those with sore joints, it can be quite difficult to get out of lesser zero gravity chairs because the arm assembly moves with the back, and therefore you cannot use your arms to help rise out of the chair.

Another unique feature of the Hybride chair is the premium Cannage mesh fabric - a synthetic weatherproof fabric that consists of groups of four braided fibers to create a subtle but unmistakable high style look. Cannage fabric is colorfast and mildew resistant, unlike that used in many imitation chairs.

The method of attaching the Cannage mesh to the chair is also unique - and patented. Under a tasteful smooth tab that runs the length of each side of the chair, you will find a series of dozens of flexible tabs that hold the mesh in place. First, these tabs represent an enormous improvement over the single-point-failure mode of the imitators' long flexible lace cord. In addition, instead of a protracted lacing or unlacing operation, the tabs allow the mesh to easily be removed and replaced by turning and lifting each tab in turn.

The high quality weatherproof wood arms compare with resin plastics in other chairs, and the neck cushion is easily adjusted and made from the highest quality weatherproof materials.

The chair frame is made from premium quality high-strength tubular aluminum that has been reinforced at each joint with all weather hardware and welds.

The Hybride style features front and back U-shaped legs which spread weight evenly across the width of the chair, which is especially important when using chairs on grass or sand, where conventional legs will sink and become uneven. We also offer this chair in the R'Light version with four conventional legs.
