Each cooler is hand-made and hand finished to provide a unique product of color and presence from Alfresco Home's fire glazed terracotta. The characteristics of glazed terracotta when fired, cause the colors to burst and run. This creates individual coolers, as every piece will vary from the next one produced. The nature of earthenware, as well as terracotta, is to maintain and keep every beverage cool within the approximately 1 inch thick walls of our coolers. These coolers comfortably rest within strong iron rod stands. The indentations on the bowl, help the iron rod grab and hold the cooler. Each stand is removable from the cooler.
